The Convene Enterprise Mentoring Programme is a unique opportunity for enterprise professionals to receive training and qualification in mentorship, while providing valuable support and guidance to students in their transition from Higher Education to early career employment as an intern or graduate.
We are currently seeking enterprise mentors for this semester’s programme, which will be starting in late October 2021.

Why become a Convene Enterprise Mentor?
Mentoring can be a mutually rewarding experience for both mentor and mentee.
Convene Enterprise Mentors will connect with students for 8 hours over a period of two months. On completion of the programme, mentors will receive a Level 9 micro credential in Early Career Mentoring (5 ECTS)—at no cost—as a pilot initiative this will be fully funded by Convene.
Certification
Using collaborative teaching and learning strategies, the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) certificate in Early Career Mentoring explores mentor behaviours and skills to support mentee development. To complete the CPD, mentors will be required to attend one half day workshop and submit a report and presentation at the end of the process. Recognition of the time spent mentoring students contributes significantly towards the assessment of the microcredential. Learning outcomes include:
